Yadid Balev U’Banefesh is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 to support Lev Hasharon Mental Health Medical Center, one of Israel’s leading institutions in trauma-informed psychiatric care. From its inception, the organization has been dedicated to advancing the well-being of individuals living with mental illness and ensuring their challenges are brought to the forefront of public awareness. Led by a committed chairperson and guided by a passionate advisory board, Yadid Balev U’Banefesh operates entirely through volunteer efforts. Each member shares a deep commitment to mental health, social solidarity, and mutual responsibility. Together, they work to reduce stigma, expand access to care, and create opportunities for healing, empowerment, and integration into the community. Through its longstanding partnership with Lev Hasharon, the organization supports innovative clinical programs, patient-centered initiatives, and advocacy efforts that help individuals reclaim their dignity and quality of life. Our Vision To raise awareness around mental health, empower individuals coping with psychiatric conditions, and promote their rehabilitation and full inclusion in society hand in hand with the dedicated professionals at Lev Hasharon.
