The three-pronged mission of SAFETY ISRAEL is to educate the Israeli public and promote a greater awareness of home safety issues, to protect the safety of children from dangerous home accidents, and to provide life-saving equipment and services. The goals of the organization are concretized by means of instructors using travelling interactive displays to educate school children about the common hazards lurking in their homes, simulated drills to prevent accidents, as well as how to respond to emergencies. The focus is on school-aged children and the wide range of preventative measures which need to be implemented in every household in order to avoid the next unnecessary tragedy.
