Eran: Israeli Association for Emotional First Aid

ERAN, a humanitarian service, provides a free and confidential 24-hour phone help-line that offers emotional support to those who are lonely, depressed, or going through a personal crisis. ERAN volunteers try to help callers through conversation, engaging in a joint search for alternative solutions, and when necessary, referring them to professional agencies. In emergency situations, every effort is made to save a person’s life. All calls are dealt with in a strictly confidential manner that protects the anonymity of the caller. In addition to the general hotline, there are specific hotlines for Russians, soldiers, and the elderly.
