Elasaiel Association for Childhood and Parenthood was founded in August 2024 by a group of Arab women educators to address the growing need for high-quality early childhood services in Israel’s Wadi Ara region. Led by an early childhood social worker with over 30 years of experience in pedagogy, educator training, and Montessori education, Elasaiel operates a Montessori-inspired daycare center in Ar’ara serving approximately 60 children ages five months to three years. The center provides an inclusive learning environment with individualized support for children facing language delays, emotional needs, and developmental challenges, alongside guidance for parents and professional mentoring for educators. A growing waiting list reflects the strong demand for these services across Wadi Ara and neighboring Arab communities. Building on this foundation, Elasaiel is expanding into a multidisciplinary Early Childhood Development & Family Resource Center offering afternoon programming, including emotional therapy workshops, animal-assisted therapy, music and sensory enrichment activities, bibliotherapy, parent guidance workshops, and ongoing professional training for educators. Research shows that roughly 90% of brain development occurs before age five, making this period a critical window for lifelong learning and wellbeing. Elasaiel’s integrated model works simultaneously with children, families, and educators to close developmental gaps early, strengthen families, and build a more resilient community. The association’s vision is to become a regional center of excellence in early childhood development for Wadi Ara and neighboring Arab communities.
