Educating for Excellence (College for All)

Established in 1999, Educating for Excellence (E4E) is a leading educational organization that strives to strengthen Israeli society by reducing socioeconomic disparity and creating equal opportunities for children with demonstrable potential for academic, social, and professional excellence who reside in Israel?s socioeconomic and geographic periphery. E4E operates 46 Excellence Centers nationwide, catering to 3,000 elementary through high school students, and affecting broader impact on their friends, families, schools, and communities. E4E is unique in that it operates an internally-developed, top quality, socially-minded curriculum consisting of 16 weekly hours (4 days a week) all year long (including during school breaks) over the course of 10 years – from 3rd to 12th grades – thus broadening the children’s horizons, developing their academic capabilities, and reinforcing their social conscience. Our Excellence Centers work closely with students? parents, the Ministry of Education, municipalities and schools in order to create the maximum impact on our 3,000 students and 10,000 beneficiaries. E4E engages more than 800 university students as instructors and role models, and compensates them with scholarships. E4E?s 500+ graduates are our best proof of concept ? achieving exceptional matriculation scores, joining elite IDF units, pursuing higher education, and successfully integrating into the workforce.
