Dorot Ba’Gilboa was established in1995 to supply welfare services for the benefit of the senior residents of the gilboa regional council area. Services include a variety of courses and lectures, a daycare center for those who are feeble and mentally ill or suffering from physical disabilities, physiotherapy and a gym, support and treatment for holocaust survivors and the second generation, work services for the elderly and their family members, retirement preparation plans, computer learning, excursions (in Israel and abroad), and home visits.
