Arugot

Arugot, formerly known as The Haifa Center for Children with Learning Disabilities (Chi.L.D.) is a dynamic therapeutic and learning center with a vision to provide the child and the family with vital educational, therapeutic, and social services previously lacking in the local Haifa community. The center provides a number of treatment and therapy options through different programs for children with learning disabilities and a range of other problems. Ongoing programs include: Treating Learning Disabled children; Integrated Nursery for handicapped toddlers and their typically developing peers; and two special-ed kindergartens. A number of other services include working with children from shelters for battered women, parental guidance, helping Ethiopian immigrant students, treating trauma and anxiety in all people, Snoezelen Room Therapy, and treating Orthodox women and adolescent girls specifically.
