Chabad Bealya

Our activities are built in order to support the ADAMA nationwide network of 20 youth communities supporting Russian-speaking immigrants in Israel, fostering social integration, traditional Jewish values, and a strong identity. The Problem: Immigration to Israel is a major source of stress for young Russian-speaking immigrants, who face language barriers, lack of a social circle, and the loss of their community. With approximately 1.5 million Russian speakers in Israel, there is a strong need for a supportive environment to help them build their identity. Our Approach: To build a nationwide network of 20 youth communities to shape the future identity of Russian-speaking Jewry in Israel, grounded in traditional Jewish values and pride in the Land of Israel. We combine learning, social networking, digital development, and leadership training. Specific Activities: Grant funding will support personal growth, regular community meetups and holiday celebrations, leadership/speaker training courses, digital media content creation, and national educational tours.
