The Center for Media Research (CMR) is the name under which PMW is a registered not-forprofit in Israel. The Center for Media Research (CMR) conducts research to help advance peace education in the Middle East which is essential for safeguarding the Jewish people and their faith in Israel. Established in 2002, CMR is an apolitical, non-profit research institute created to critique peace education in the informal and formal educational structures in the Arabic language. CMR analyses peace education in Palestinian society from numerous perspectives, including studies on official PA TV shows, radio programs, magazines and newspapers, social media sites, summer camps, schoolbooks, and more. The goal is to reinforce positive peace education where it may appear and bring to light material that is detrimental to peace so that changes can be made.
