The Center for Educational Technology (CET) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of the education system in Israel, in the Jewish world and around the globe through engaging in educational projects based on modern technologies and methods of instruction. It is the largest publisher of textbooks in Israel, develops websites and digital databases designed for teachers and students (such as CET’s Virtual Library, MikraNet, and Knafayim), and develops matriculation exams, for the Ministry of Education in the fields of technology, and the Meitzav exams. It also assists local authorities in establishing planning and evaluation units, and training officials in the field of assessment. In addition, CET strives to improve the professionalization of teachers by developing instructional aids and methodologies.
