Founded in 2003, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel (NGO) has been dedicated for over 20 years to providing support to children, adolescents, and young people in situations of risk and distress, as well as those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our mission is to empower these individuals, placing them at the center of our efforts to help them develop into well-adjusted adults. We offer a variety of programs, including one-on-one mentorships and group activities. The core of our work is pairing volunteer mentors, known as big brothers or big sisters, with young mentees. We operate nationwide, with a focus on the social and geographic peripheries of Israel. We skillfully collaborate with local authorities and recruit capable mentors. Our operational model is based on extensive research and proven effectiveness.
