EBekol, a non-profit organization established in 1997, is Israel’s leading organization for the deaf and hard of hearing. It is the only self-help center in Israel that was formed by people with hearing loss. Bekol’s mission is to strive for equal opportunity for people with hearing loss, to promote accessibility in public places, to ease access to hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and to provide information about hearing loss, how it affects our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Ultimately the main goal at Bekol is to assist adults in facing the challenges that arise due to hearing impairment.
