Founded in 1994, Beit Knesset Shivtei Yisrael is located in the Givat Sharett neighborhood of Beit Shemesh, one of Israel’s fastest growing communities particularly amongst immigrant populations from English-speaking countries. The synagogue is a place of prayer, religious, educational, and youth activities, and social events. There are guest lectures and Torah study classes are available for men, women, and children throughout the year. Social programs around the holidays contribute to the community ethos of the Beit Knesset and a strong emphasis in placed on creating a warm and welcoming environment for new members. In addition, financial and other support is provided for those in need.
