Beit Haggai Children & Youth Village

The Beit Haggai Children & Youth Village was established in 1989 with the purpose of caring for Jewish boys, ages 12-18, who come from difficult social backgrounds, broken families, and boys with learning disabilities and emotional handicaps. Most of the boys left home on their own, were taken from their homes by a governmental agency, or dropped out of the regular social and educational frameworks because they were unsuccessful and unable to cope there. The primary purpose of the Youth Village is to rehabilitate and reintegrate these boys into Israeli society so that they will become positive and productive members. The Youth Village takes in boys into its live-in rehabilitation village where they live in Family Homes and become part of a loving and nurturing environment. The Village also provides the boys with an education program, vocational training, and therapy sessions.
