The Be’er-Sheva Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of all of Be’er-Sheva’s residents – new immigrants and veteran residents, secular and religious, adults and children, Jews, Christians, Bedouins, etc. The Foundation works hand-in-hand with the city government and other relevant organizations to meet today’s pressing needs, helping complement city and government budgets to enrich Be’er-Sheva’s residents in all areas – the arts, education, sports, welfare, and more – providing each and every one the highest possible standard of living and helping meet their special needs. Some of the highlights of our achievement in the recent years are the erection of play parks and playgrounds for the city’s children throughout the city and the construction of a number of public structures serving the residents of Be’er-Sheva in a number of different areas: the Bat-Dor Be’er-Sheva Dance School, the Child and Family Center, a new facility that serves as the umbrella for a broad range of social and therapeutic services for the city’s children and families; the L&L Goodman acting school, the Be’er-Sheva river park and many more.
