The L&L Goodman Bat-Dor Beer-Sheva Municipal Dance Center is the only professional dance school in the southern region of Israel. The school is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sport because of the esteem it has for its professional achievements and the recognition of its positive influence on the Negev. Both theoretical and practical subjects are studied. The school’s underlying goal is to give an equal chance to all children, regardless of financial and/or cultural background, to gain educational and cultural values together with professional dance skills. Situated in an urban renewal neighborhood, Bat-Dor has involved itself in the community, the kindergartens, and the schools of the area. Students gain choreography and stage experience through the school’s yearly performances. Our graduates speak for our achievements, today our graduate dancers and teachers can be found throughout Israel and the world.
