Atida promotes Ultra-Orthodox women as software engineers in the IDF and other security systems in Israel. This initiative faces different needs in the Ultra- Orthodox society and allows the IDF to enjoy a quality and stable human resource. This combination builds bridges within the Israeli society: Through this program we wish to integrate the Haredi society in the general Israeli society, to encourage acceptance and tolerance, to educate both societies about each other, and to assist the Israeli economic system, by (a) creating more quality work power within the Ultra-Orthodox society (b) train more software engineers, which is in a high demand in the Israeli High Tech employment market, besides the objective assistance to the defense forces.
