The Association of Multidisciplinary Art operates Castle in Time Orchestra, an ensemble that explores the space between traditional orchestral performance and more experimental approaches to sound and composition. Our work often involves combining acoustic instruments with electronics, improvisation, and Soundpainting – a live compositional language. We create performances that are accessible and engaging while offering something new for both audiences and musicians. In parallel with our concerts, we?ve gradually developed educational and community-based projects, and festivals, including workshops at music schools and academies, concerts in senior homes, and music-based sessions for youth with special needs. These activities grow out of our belief that music can be meaningful in many different contexts not just on stage. We?ve had the opportunity to present our work in both local and international festivals and museums, and we continue to collaborate with cultural institutions in Israel and abroad. As we look ahead, we plan to deepen our outreach, develop new multidisciplinary collaborations, and initiate a scholarship program to support emerging musicians. We’re driven by the goal of creating meaningful and accessible cultural experiences for our community.
