The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) is the only organization in the country whose main aim is to combat sexual violence at the national level. Established in 1990 to advocate on behalf of victims of sexual violence throughout to serve as an umbrella organization for nine regional Rape Crisis Centers (RCCs) that function as local, individual service providers, ARCCI strives to create systemic, social change in the realm of the services, rights, and national protection of victims of sexual violence. ARCCI works to ensure that current laws are fully implemented and identifies gaps in the legislative system, creating, developing, and advocating tailored legislative solutions in response.
