Alrowad for Science and Technology

Alrowad’s Missions: To focus on science and technology and to reach-out everyone (kids, youth, teachers, students, general public), by meaningful learning methods, which include hands-on/experimental science. To develop and enhance participant’s interpersonal skills, leadership and social activism. To mediate science between tradition and modernity, connect the public to the historical Arab-science, but also to the new cutting-edge scientific research and technological advancements. To create an Arab-society, where science and technology are an integral part of the public discourse at large. A society that believes in scientific and technological excellence as a solution for the challenges it faces and adopts these solutions by social and economic initiatives.The organization has three major units: 1) Schools; 2) Academics (High degrees); 3) Supportive unit. Each unit has different projects with dedicated team leaders who work in full/part time job, and staff members who are either excellent school graduates or university students, who also work in full/part-time jobs.Alrowad is operating, year-around, all over Israel. The organization is routinely carrying out multiple, practical and innovative educational-programs in science, technology, entrepreneurship and leadership-education. Its idea is to use and implement powerful, ‘hands-on’ tools, in order to achieve exposure to science, enthusiasm, knowledge and personal and social-growth.
