Founded in June 2022 as a public-benefit corporation, El-Bayader for Socio-Economic Development is a national social-economic development platform for Arab society in Israel. Using a pioneering joint-venture strategy, El-Bayader builds strategic cooperation with national government, local authorities, civil society, and the philanthropic and business sector. Operating in four key areas – planning & housing, energy & environment, early childhood education, and economic development – El-Bayader facilitates agreed-upon solutions to complex development issues, builds knowledge and local capacity in Arab municipalities, helps utilize development budgets and implement government services for Arab society – to drive equitable socio-economic development and close gaps.
