Ahavas Chesed B’Eretz HaKodesh, founded in 2004 and headed by Rabbi Elimelech Firer, has spent over two decades helping families and individuals in Israel break out of the cycle of hardship. The organization works through a distinctive ‘360° of giving’ approach: a full spectrum of welfare programs matched precisely to each family’s circumstances, from urgent, essential first-response aid through to preventive programs that transform the long-term financial conduct of thousands of households. Assistance includes the distribution of food and basic household necessities — among them Kimcha D’Pischa food packages before Passover — direct financial and material support for families in distress, and help for the sick. Over the years Ahavas Chesed has built a notable capacity for identifying need accurately and in depth, and for delivering precisely tailored solutions to each family. The organization today operates eight branches across Israel, serving families and individuals in distress, children and youth, women, the elderly, the sick, and yeshiva students and young married scholars nationwide. Donations support food and necessity distribution, emergency financial assistance, assistance to the sick, and the preventive programs that help families regain financial stability.
