The Beit Frankforter House, which was established in 1981, caters to the needs of the elderly. The center is frequented by hundreds of senior citizens of different origins: native Israelis and immigrants from North Africa, Europe, and America. They participate every day in a wide range of activities, suited to the special needs of each group, which include lectures, film shows, trips, exercises, and handwork. The approach of Beit Frankforter in working with the elderly is to provide a wide range of interesting activities together with a positive attitude and a concerned relationship between coordinator and members of each group, the family, neighbors and the community. The Center also provides, in a separate building, medical and dental care.
