For over 35 years, ACHY has championed four core objectives: identity, independence, partnership and equality. About a hundred ACHY National Service volunteers serve in scores of middle and high schools across seventeen municipalities, from Acre to Eilat. Through early afternoon, these volunteers lead formal and informal education classes related to Jewish identity and Zionism, for over ten thousand students weekly. In the afternoons and evenings, volunteers turn to community service in frameworks such as municipal youth centers, community centers, and welfare programs.
