A.V. Israel

A.V. Israel was founded in 1995 by a group of parents and professionals. Its primary focus has been to help children with hearing loss or profound deafness learn to listen, speak and study with their hearing peers, with the ultimate goal of integrating them into mainstream schools and culture. A.V. Israel offers diagnostic assessments and auditory-verbal therapy for children, audiological assessments and hearing aid fittings, cochlear implant mappings, parent empowerment and a support network for the family. It also teaches and trains speech therapists and audiologists from across the country in the hope of spreading the AV approach.
