PEF was pleased to approve four recommended grants from The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation totaling in excess of $500,000 for:

Na’amat – Movement of Working Women and Volunteers to support the extensive renovation and expansion of a shelter for battered women to improve the living conditions for the women and their children during their stay in the shelter.

Bizchut to support the development of legal service to individuals and families of adults and children with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities.

Nitzan Assn For Children with Learning Disabilities to support a training and job placement program in Jerusalem and Tiberius for unemployed young adults with learning disabilities and ADHD.

TEBEKA to support culture of leadership amongst young Ethiopian Israelis who will integrate key positions in their field by influencing and instilling meaningful social processes in various sectors in which social and economic decisions are taken.
